Welcome to Salvaterra. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all online purchases made through our website www.salvaterrabeauty.com (“Website”).
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.
1. About Salvaterra
This Website is owned and operated by Salvaterra Ltd (“Salvaterra”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales.
Our products are formulated with responsibly sourced Amazonian botanicals and advanced scientific actives, and designed to deliver exceptional skincare performance with integrity and sustainability at their core.
2. Eligibility
To purchase from this Website, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age; and
Provide accurate and complete personal and payment details.
We reserve the right to refuse orders if information appears incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent.
3. Contract Formation & Order Acceptance
After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance.
A binding contract between you and Salvaterra is formed only when we send an email confirming dispatch of your order (“Dispatch Confirmation”).
We may decline or cancel an order, for example, if:
An item is out of stock;
A pricing or description error is discovered; or
Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
4. Pricing, VAT & Errors
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable, but exclude delivery charges displayed at checkout.
We take great care to ensure accuracy, but if a product or price is shown incorrectly, we reserve the right not to process the order and will contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel.
5. Ordering & Correcting Errors
You can review and correct any details before selecting Submit Order.
Please ensure all information, including delivery address and payment details, is accurate before confirming your order.
6. Payment, Authorisation & Title
Payment is captured at checkout using secure, encrypted payment gateways.
We may perform standard anti-fraud and authorisation checks prior to dispatch.
Ownership of products passes to you only once full payment has been received.
Risk transfers to you upon delivery to the address provided.
7. Delivery, Risk & Events Outside Our Control
Delivery options, timeframes, and costs are displayed at checkout.
Once products have been delivered to your specified address, risk passes to you.
We are not responsible for delays beyond our control (e.g., courier delays, customs, or extreme weather).
If there is a substantial delay, we will contact you. You may cancel undelivered items for a full refund.
8. International Shipping, Customs & Duties
If you order products for delivery outside the UK:
Import duties, taxes, and fees may apply and are your responsibility;
Customs clearance delays may occur and are outside our control; and
Compliance with local import laws rests with you.
We recommend checking local regulations before ordering.
Customs Refusal or Abandonment
If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs due to unpaid duties or import restrictions, we cannot issue a refund until the products are returned to us in resalable condition.
Any return shipping, handling, or customs charges deducted by carriers will be borne by the customer.
Regulatory Restrictions
Some products, particularly those containing natural oils or botanical extracts, may be restricted in certain countries.
Please check local import rules before ordering. Salvaterra is not responsible for items delayed, rejected, or seized by customs authorities.
9. Inspection on Receipt
Please inspect your parcel on arrival and report any issues within a reasonable period.
Notifying us promptly helps us resolve problems swiftly, without affecting your statutory rights.
10. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your products without giving a reason.
To cancel, please email returns@salvaterrabeauty.com quoting your order number.
Products must be returned within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
We will refund the product price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods (or proof of return).
Hygiene Exception
For health protection and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of any product that has been opened, unsealed, or used, unless it is faulty or not as described.
Returns must be sent in their original, unopened packaging with proof of purchase.
You are responsible for return postage unless the product is faulty.
International Customers
For customers outside the United Kingdom, local consumer-protection laws may provide additional rights.
These Terms do not affect any such mandatory local laws.
11. Products That Are Faulty or Not as Described (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to the following rights under UK law:
A full refund within 30 days of delivery; or
A replacement product if the fault arises within 6 months of delivery (or a refund if a replacement is not available).
Because of the nature of skincare and hygiene regulations, we are not able to offer product “repairs.”
We may ask for photographs or brief details of the issue to help us investigate and improve our quality control.
These rights apply in addition to any goodwill returns we may offer.
12. Returns (Goodwill Policy — In Addition to Your Legal Rights)
We hope you love your Salvaterra products. However, if you change your mind:
We accept returns of unopened, unused and sealed products within 28 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method.
To arrange a return, please contact returns@salvaterrabeauty.com for instructions and confirmation.
We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
13. Sales, Promotions & Samples
Promotional and sale pricing is time-limited and subject to availability.
Complimentary samples are provided at our discretion while stocks last and may be substituted without notice.
14. Personal Use & Quantity Limits
Salvaterra products are intended for personal use only.
We may refuse orders that appear intended for resale or exceed five units of the same product per order.
15. Intellectual Property & Use of Content
All content on this Website — including text, trademarks, product names, packaging designs, photography, graphics, and videos — is owned by Salvaterra Ltd or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law.
You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, or use any content without written consent.
16. Our Responsibility for Loss or Damage
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
Your statutory consumer rights.
We supply products for domestic use only and are not liable for business losses, including loss of profit, data, or opportunity.
17. Assignment & Third-Party Rights
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation.
These Terms are not intended to confer rights on any third party.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
